30 Days, 5 Minutes, and 20 Seconds: That’s all you need to transform your life. I know, I know, that sounds totally cheesy.

Let me break it down for you.

30 Days:

This is such a great idea and so simple. I need this in my life, I think we all do. Life starts to feel stale doing the same things month after month, why not make a small change (or large change if you’re feeling really ambitious) for 30 days. Worst case scenario on day 31 you call it quits and move on to a new challenge.

5 Minutes:

This comes from the idea that if you don’t want to do something, 5 minutes is all you need to get motivated. The first 5 minutes are the hardest. If you’re really dreading a task, just tell yourself that you’ll just do it for 5 minutes and then you can stop if you are still dragging your feet. Chances are that you’ll gain momentum and keep on going after that.

20 Seconds:

This wrings so true to me. How often are we held back from doing something because of what other people will think. To be honest most people are not paying attention to you. The worst thing that happens in most cases is someone thinks “well that person looks silly” and moves on with their day and forgets they ever saw you. Why are we letting them hold us back.
